Northern Pharmacy International works with many well known hospitals including: Johns Hopkins Hospital, Kennedy
Krieger, Children's National Medical Center, and Children's Hospital Boston to service the needs of international
patients.  We have a great deal of experience in working with international patients who are embassy sponsored,
and international patients who are self pay or insured.  Given our experience we are able to accurately service
patient needs while following the regulations of the patient's sponsoring embassy or insurance company.  

Patient Needs
We have a dedicated staff to fill orders for over the counter and prescription pharmaceuticals, medical equipment,
medical supplies, and nursing needs.  Our dedicated database allows us to maintain detailed patient records from
allergies and diagnosis, to delivery and billing information which helps ensure order accuracy.  We also maintain
electronic files of all prescribed items and all patient orders.  Our records system helps us to make the ordering
process for hospital staff easier, as we strive to ensure that all details are covered and to make the ordering
process easy for hospital staff.  

Invoices & Billing
We understand that keeping track of embassy regulations may be difficult, as the requirements for each order vary
from embassy to embassy.  Which is why we maintain such a detailed database, which allows us to keep track of
embassy regulations and allows us the ability to direct bill many embassies.  Currently we are able to direct bill
multiple embassies, which allows the hospital to worry about patient care and not the sometimes tedious aspect of
billing.  We also welcome the opportunity to work with new embassies, to help facilitate accurate patient order
processing.

Unlike most pharmacies which keep 9am-9pm hours, we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days
a year.  Northern pharmacy international staff members are on the premises 9am-8pm Monday- Friday, and we are
available by phone 24/7/365.  Should a patient have an emergency medication need on the weekend, it is as simple
as giving us a call to start the process of filling an urgent order.
