| The International Services department works closely with our in-house pharmacy department to ensure that all prescriptions are filled accurately and in a timely manner. The pharmacy staff includes over 5 dedicated pharmacists and over 15 pharmacy technicians. During the filling process, all prescription orders are screened for potential interactions and overdoses, through the use of a computerized system as well as by our pharmacists. The pharmacy stocks hundreds of the most commonly prescribed medications as well as customer specific items which helps to ensure that our inventory meets the needs of all patients. If items are not in-stock on a given day, generally the item will be obtained the next day. The pharmacy also has a close relationship with the local distributor, and many times can speedily resolve any special order needs.
